Iran Accuses Ukraine of Caspian Sea Vessel Attack

If we assume the delivery was a long range drone launched from a third party, would the radar signatures still be as obvious? Could a non state actor be providing the platform to mask the origin?
I wonder if the report of casualties is confirmed by independent sources yet. It would be helpful to see if the vessel was actually transporting personnel or just cargo before we assume the scale of the tragedy.
What about the possibility of a cyber attack on the navigation systems... could that cause a collision or a 'strike' without a physical missile? I wonder if the debris analysis will show anything unusual...
This mirrors the 2019 tanker incidents where the initial attributions were shifted several times as the forensics came in. We usually find out later that the 'attack' was an internal failure or a regional skirmish.
The timing is odd given the Omani mediation for the Strait of Hormuz. This looks less like a strategic move and more like a distraction to shift focus away from the current tactical pause.
Logistics don't lie; moving a strike platform into a landlocked basin without any radar signatures is nearly impossible. The physical barriers of the Caspian make the attribution to a foreign power very unlikely.
