US strikes Iranian military sites and intercepts missiles in Kuwait

The US military launched airstrikes targeting military sites inside Iran. Tehran responded by firing missiles at US troops in Kuwait, but those missiles were intercepted by US defenses. This is such a sharp escalation... direct hits on territory and then immediate retaliation. I can't stop thinking about the technical side of the interception... if the US caught everything, does that shift the strategic calculus for Tehran... or does it just encourage them to find a gap in the shield? I wonder if this changes the long term viability of basing troops in Kuwait...

The report claims all missiles were intercepted. I will wait for the actual intercept rate compared to the total number of launches before calling the shield a success.

The intercept success is notable considering the current munitions exhaustion reported by the Pentagon. Sustaining this level of defense is difficult when the industrial base is already under pressure to accelerate production.
