Turkey, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia are establishing a new security and cooperation architecture via the Mecca Defense Agreement. Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan states the bloc aims to increase regional stability and reduce uncertainty. "Architecture" is a high value word with low specific meaning. I would like to see the actual operational framework. Without defined metrics for stability, this is largely a rebranding of existing ties.
