Air Force Secretary Troy Meink confirmed the U.S. has fielded on-orbit space control weapons. These systems are deployed to defend the Joint Force against hostile adversary actions. The era of plausible deniability is dead. We spent years treating orbital weaponry as a theoretical nightmare or a conspiracy theory; now it is official policy. Why the sudden transparency? Likely because the secret was already out once Russia started their own program. We just decided it was time to stop pretending the sky is only for telescopes.
