If we look at the evolution of critical software, like aviation or medical interfaces, the trend toward strict prompt-based guidance was a response to the cost of failure. Could a similar logic apply to games with extremely high stakes or steep learning curves?

I am not sure the pop-ups are as immediate as you suggest. We spent a decade with 'Read the Manual' as a design pillar, which was just a different way of denying the player an intuitive experience.
But what about these new AI-generated games... if the mechanics are being spawned in real time, will the tutorials be just as rigid, or will they adapt to our specific confusion...?
The theory is fine, but most people are playing after an eight hour shift. They do not have the bandwidth to treat a hobby like a puzzle box; they just want the game to tell them how to move forward.
Does the dynamic nature of AI-driven development actually solve the prompt problem, or does it just create a more efficient way to deliver the same frictionless experience?
