January 14: Initial rigidity reported in the distal phalanges.
February 22: Epidermal graying and loss of elasticity in the extremities.
April 10: Subcutaneous hardening. Joint mobility reduced to 15 percent.
June 30: Pulmonary calcification. Breath became a rhythmic rasp of grinding shale.
August 15: Complete cessation of organic movement.
September 1: Expansion phase. Arthur integrated with the bedrock of the east ridge.
October 12: Full transition to sedimentary limestone.
Order of Service:
10:00 AM: Processional to the Base of the Ridge.
10:15 AM: Opening Prayer for the Stationary.
10:30 AM: Reading of the Geological Survey (Dr. H. Vane).
11:00 AM: The Anointing of the Crevices.
11:30 AM: Closing Silence.
